Last Sunday, Pastor Travis Jarrett continued our teaching series and preached from Acts 8. In this chapter we find incredible testimonies of the Gospel at work but we also see the early church facing incredible persecution and challenge. Travis examined three realities that we all face even while living empowered by the Holy Spirit and offered practical, Biblical guidance to help us move forward regardless of our circumstances.

Last Sunday we launched our new series campaign "Experience Different" in Asheville. Pastor Travis Jarrett asked the question, "What are some things the world and the church do poorly, but the church shouldn't?" He then walked us through a few key areas where we need to experience different: -relationships, forgiveness, love, natural and financial resources and the church itself rounded out the list. Travis reminded us that following Jesus means learning to change - and that change is central to beginning to Experience Different.

Last Sunday, Pastor Travis Jarrett shared some spiritual truths from the life of Gideon, focusing on the pattern of love and rebellion that many of us fall into in our relationship with God. In this message, Travis reminds us 1) that God loves and adores us, 2) we rebel against a God we can't control, 3) we create our own gods in order to rule our lives. Why does "Jesus is God" matter to me? How does that change my everyday life? In this message, Pastor Travis digs deeper into what it means to live in the truth that Jesus is God and gives practical ways for us to live in the hope and promise of His return.
